The Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) says it will roll out the red carpet for Nigeria and Argentina when both teams arrive in Dhaka this morning.The BFF officials will first welcome Argentina with bouquets before current and former national booters,wearing green T-shirt and black pants or red T-shirt and black pants, receive both Argentine and Nigerian booters and officials.
"The former and current national players will stand in two separate lines on the boarding path and receive the players with garlands and then the national women booters will receive them at hotel," said Satyajit Das Rupu, member of the reception committee.
The reception committee has also chosen golden-coloured boat with BFF logo that will be presented to each of Argentina and Nigeria teams members as a gift from the football's governing body of Bangladesh.
Four match referees from Iran and three top officials from All Indian Football Federation have already come here on Saturday while Emeka, a former Nigeria booter who played in Bangladesh in late 90s, was supposed to arrive here yesterday as those four were invited by the BFF to watch the match between two magnificent countries.
Meanwhile the Security Law and Order Committee for the match has revealed that the whole procedure will be closely monitored by the law enforcing agencies.
The venue - Bangabandhu National Stadium - has been taken over by the security forces for the next three days and all the shops will remain closed till Tuesday. The movement will be limited and will be checked at the entrance.
The match will start at 6:00pm and the gate will be opened at 3:00pm. It is very important to note that the gates on the match day will be closed at 6:00pm and nobody will be allowed to enter the premises after the deadline.
So the organisers have requested the ticket holders to take their seat as early as possible and enter the stadium premises before 6:00pm
