Goalkeeper Vincent Enyeama is Nigerian Footballer of the Year

Goalkeeper Vincent Enyeama was on Tuesday night named Nigerian Footballer of the Year at the annual AIT Nigerian Football Awards.

Enyeama, who was second last year, beat off competition from holder Osaze Odemwingie and midfielder Kalu Uche.

But the biggest winners on the night were the women's national team.

The Super Falcons were named National Team of the Year, their coach Uche Eucharia claimed Coach of The Year honours.
