According to a report in this morning’s edition of Italy’s second highest selling sports daily, Corriere dello Sport, the Nigeria international left back Taye Taiwo now has a French Passport and is more likely to move to AC Milan in the summer.
The Rossoneri will now be able to use the non-EU quota to sign the Brazilian wonder-kid, Pablo Henrique Ganso.
Taiwo has been offered a four-year-contract by the Red and Black.
Meanwhile, ahead of their crucial Serie A match between AC Milan and Brescia on Saturday, Massimiliano Allegri (Milan coach), at a press conference on Friday, further confirmed the interest of the club on two possible summer reinforcements - Gans and Taye Taiwo.
The Brazilian wonder-kid Gans appears to be close to signing for the Rossoneri, while the Marseille left back has already made contact with the Milan hierarchy.
‘’Gans is a great player. Taiwo has some good qualities in the the left-back position, ‘’ says Allegri.
AC Milan are on top of the Serie A table and will concentrate on the summer market after the end of the season
