Head coach of Nigeria’s U-19 Women’s basketball team, Adewunmi Aderemi is confident the team will not disappoint the nation during the 2011 FIBA U-19 World Championship for Women.
The competition is billed for Puerto Voras and Puerto Montt in Chile between July 21 and 31.
Aderemi who guided Nigeria to a second place finish at the U-18 FIBA African Championship held in Cairo, Egypt last year, gave this assurance while announcing his team for the Championship.

“It’s going to be tough but I want to assure that we are battle ready for the Championship with the support of the Nigeria Basketball Federation,” he said.
Nigeria will play in Pool B against Australia, France and hosts, Chile.
The team is expected to report for a training camp in Washington DC from June 7 to 14 before flying to Fougerues and Reze, France to take part in two warm-up tournaments holding between June 19 and 26 which include hosts France, China and Brazil
