NIDO: HOPE FOR LEGITIMATE NIGERIANS IN CAMBODIA

Dear valued readers,

Prone to the responses I got from previous articles on NIDO presence in Cambodia, I would like to clearly state here that there are yet, no leader appointed nor elected to pioneer NIDO's affairs. We have no rights or jurisdictions to do so. It's purely Federal Government affairs and they are in right position to appoint whoever they deem fits enough to pilot NIDO and Nigerians in Cambodia. I did say that serving ex-cos of then NCSA are presently taking care of things and ensuring proper documentation of newly registered members. There is no cause for alarm yet.

The issue of the President is no longer a question to ask. Apparently the present situation has dented his image and by provision of constitution he may not be allow to run for the office of the president again. Maybe with an amendment something is possible but that dream is far from reality today.

We are all here together. Nothing would change without any of you knowing. Let's keep our heads low in seeking a more constructive way of resolving issues. I want to say also to those doing under ground campaigning to exercise more patience till right moment. Hasty climber would always fall but slow and steady wins the race.

I have known Nigerians as peace loving people, enterprising, hard working, co-operative and very intelligent people. Do we have different kinds of Nigerians here? Most probably no! So let's focus on fostering our unity, sensitizing our people, provide information database system, feed them with truth and lead them through right paths. Many have become victims of circumstances as a results of ignorance.

Most annoying part it's fact that we are loosing value in face of the authority and host community at large. We have been embraced by these people, well treated and respected. Why the sudden changes? Would leave this to your conscience.

There is need for a complete turn around. "The wind of change is blowing". Those are words of late Mr. Andrew. I urge all Nigerians not to forget these words in hurry. If you need changes then stand  boldly to be part of it's developmental processes.

  2. Mr Harry, the present exectutives are incompetent. there is no point trying to make it sound as if you guys means well. YOu certainly cannot give what you dont have. The Exco should be dissolved and let there be an interim govt to channel a new course.
The present group of excos are illegal. By the way how many of them were duly elected?
In the kangaroo election that brought in Andrew's admin, there were so many irregularities which led to many withdrawing from the election and at the end most were elected unoppposed. Now Andrew died Misteriously and instead of the house to organize itself, the vice president Tony hijacked the presidency because he had money to buy his way and now he is in custody. Fatima was never elected a vice president, it was TONY's kangaroo appointment and never was she presented to the house before she was inaugurated hence she cannot be the president at this point in time.

Where does this leave us? The Nigerian Community has no leadership at the moment. Collins who is suppose to be the Secretary General is completely incompetent. This dispensation has utterly exposed his weakness. Since the arrest of the president, the Secretary general has not made any official announcement to salvage the image of the Nigerians in Cambodia. All the excos have been doing is internal wrangling and tussle for power. This cannot lead us forward.

Where are the elders? Where is the special Adviser BEDE UWALAKA? Where are the pastors? where are the so called intelects among us here? where are the businessmen?
if all continue to fold their hands things will go from bad to worse.

Let us call a spade a spade, the Nigerian community need cleansing and it has to be now.

    I rest my case

  3. @Author I thought you are smart but your recent post shows otherwise, pardon me for taking you on, what is the wind of change that is blowing?, in what direction? Unqualified controversial elected president in a United Brother orchestrated election, a sick president? , The death of a president? Vice president that cannot speak a single sentence of English?, Vice President arrested for drugs ? a Camelion chief adviser ? Exco that is composed of unreliable human beings like Collins a complete nonentity, Prince will a confused young man worshiping God in the morning and Satan in the evening UB meeting ?, a Prophetess that traffic Nigerians here and now power hungry? Please tell us, what is the wind of change that is blowing?, unless the wind of change that is sweeping you guys out.
@Author I don’t think you are getting the message, you will start your write up smartly but ends up like a recycle old Nigerian Politician, the present Exco lack legitimacy you can do the right thing by bowing down.

  4. The problem with nigerians are nigerians themselves. What is happening here is carbon copy of what happens in Nigeria at large. Instead of the present excos to admit they dont know what to do they go on misleading people.
@FATHER! you are very correct about colins and princewill. They were part of gadaffi regime but its now clear they simply know nothing. They are only good in backstabbing.
I laugh when i hear fatima is first lady, soneone that cannot command respect in front of the women is appointed chairlady. Now she was imposed as vice president in an undemocratical process. The next thing she want to be president so she and her husband can turn the association to an offshoot of their failed church.

@HARRY, you should tell the excos if they will listen, its better to bow out now so the association can be reconstituted. You are only wasting your time expectinf people to register.
