Odemwingie Is Biggest West Brom Challenge

Albion Star Hails Odemwingie Impact
Keeping hold of Peter Odemwingie will be one of West Brom’s biggest challenges this summer, according to Baggies team-mate Paul Scharner.
The Austrian has been impressed with the form of the 15-goal striker this season.
While Youssouf Mulumbu took the players’ player of the year award, Scharner admits that Odemwingie’s goal-scoring exploits will make him a much sought after player.
The Nigerian was last night leading a national newspaper poll to determine the African player of the season in the Premier League.
And Scharner feels that, as well as strengthening the squad this season, Albion will need to ensure that Odemwingie remains at the club, despite the likelihood that he will be coveted by bigger clubs.
“One of the biggest challenges this summer is keeping hold of Peter,” Scharner told the Birmingham Mail.
“Youssouf rightly won the club’s player of the year award but Peter scored 15 goals in the Premier League which is a very big thing to do.
“Clubs around Europe will notice that and be asking who he is.
“Every club wants a goalscorer and there aren’t many around.
