GOMBE VS RANGERS

Gombe United face a tricky outing in this clash against Eastern visitors, Rangers, who are coming to town with a vengeance. The Flying Antelopes lost at home to a Northern outfit, Kano Pillars, last weekend and would be seeking their pound of flesh against a less illustrious Gombe United.
The homers on their part returned home after a fruitless mid-week trip to Jos where they lost 2-1 to Plateau United. But Gombe will not be cowed by Rangers’ threat as they  held another Eastern giant, Enyimba, to a goalless draw against all expectations in Bauchi, last weekend.

And having struggled to earn just one point from their last two games, Gombe would be all out to stop a downward slide by seeking the maximum points against Rangers which are well placed ahead of them on the league table.
Eight points separate the two sides but the match promises lots of fireworks as both sides would be going for each other’s jugular.
