Nigeria continued from where they left off at the weekend with a 3-0 defeat of Kenya in an international friendly match played at the National Stadium in Abuja.

A third minute goal from Venlo youngster Ahmed Musa, one from Everton's Victor Anichebe on 48 mins and a stoppage time Ikechukwu Uche smasher were all that the Super Eagles needed to continue a victorious run against the Harambee Stars.

The score line belied the dominance of the Nigerians who missed several chances to increase the tally but for the impressive reflexes of Stars’ goalkeeper Arnold Otieno that kept them at bay.

The Nigeria Football Federation threw the gates open for this game as a way to thank the Abuja fans for their unwavering support for the team during Saturday’s game.

Coach Samson Siasia did not change his starting line up from the game against Ethiopia and they went ahead to attack from the first minute.

It was Anichebe who worked a nice pass for Musa to score the opening goal just as the Kenyans were about settling into the game. The Eagles then kept it till the second half before fired a shot in after a chest down and a turn past Otieno.

Uche scored his third goal in two games with a smash up into the roof of the net past Otieno for Nigeria's third as the clock wound down.

The Kenyans who were captained by Inter's MacDonald Mariga did not show much of the form that got them a victory over Angola at the weekend.

Nigeria have now nicked three wins in three games under Siasia and will hope they can continue their form against two time World Cup winners Argentina when the Albiceleste visit Abuja for a friendly on June 1
