MEMORIES FROM MOCK NATIONS CUP "10

To many it's a gone and forgotten event and to those who knows the true worth of the organization call it the event that last long. MNC organized by the newly formed African Football Union(AFU) which featured residents Nigerians, Ghanaian, Cameroon, and host of other Africans in Cambodia. The said tourney staged the likes of Emmanuel Okoduwa, an ex-international as the union's President and along side with him is the present Khamara FC coach Solomon Damagudu, also an ex-international and a product of the Nigeria league who has played at different club side.
Football federation of Cambodia were not in anyway left out of event as they willingly supported the event with under training and qualified officials to help add glamor to the occasion. The AFU and FFC are working hand in hand in promoting football and the unity of the game amongst players and respective football clubs in Cambodia. A close and reliable source disclosed to us as saying " We were really surprised at the organization of this huge football event organized by the Africans in this city, first of it kind and it goes all the way to prove this union has a lot to contributes to our football and would like to urge other local body presents in the country at large to emulate what has turn to be history of football in our dear country today,"

Here's my sincere advise to the presidency of the AFU: i would begin by saying congratulations for a successful hosting of the MNC and first of it kind in the continent of Asia. We do sincerely hope that this would serve as an opportunity for all the Africa players playing in the country's league and the unattached ones to come together to embrace love, peace and unity that we are truly known with. Also, the entire excos should at all at come up with more substantial programs to engage the footballers and once this is done, many will become more productive and clubs on the other side should be willing to offer contracts to them. Long live the union, long live Africa and long live Nigeria.
